Though many analyses report the conditions and challenges of mature companies in Quebec, the Montreal Startup Ecosystem Report 2016 is the first analysis to document the current situation of startups in the greater metropolitan area of Montreal.
After interviewing more than a hundred entrepreneurs, one of the key findings was that only 19% women were building startups and 22% were joining startups as employees.
